Hahahahaha Paul.
I'm not getting a proper egg this year :/ mum sent me Cadbury Creme eggs but I usually buy an egg at the local British shop. I just haven't had the time this year.

Is it Easter. I just have no idea. When you don't watch tv you miss all those adverts that tell you you are supposed to be doing something. Come to think of it I haven't noticed any eggs in the shop. Oh god yes I do, I walked into a stack of them last night and had build them up again in the shop. Almost forgot that. Stupid place to put them, right in front of me when I'm looking up.

Tea. Boiling water on the bag (I never bother with a teapot unless there's more than 3 folks) Let it sit for a couple minutes. Bag out squeezed against the side. Bit of semi skimmed milk and half a teaspoon of xylitol

Oh my. This thread made such a good read. Thank you all. As far as chocolate preference.. Im not picky. I do however enjoy it as a syrup on my peanut butter sandwich. It's honestly a staple in my diet. At this moment I have a chocolate bar that I bought from the neighbor kids for some fund raiser... It was just shy of 100degrees out and the entire thing was liquid. So i placed it in my freezer. Its been there for a while. I'm not sure where that falls.

For me, the best cup of tea is made by pouring water onto the bag (milk first is chemically illogical, unless you do prefer the taste of a milk-first brew), then squeeze and stir, let it steep for a few minutes, then stir and squeeze again. The double squeeze is important. As is reversing the stir/squeeze sequence for the first and second instance. Also, fresh water that hasn't been boiled before is preferred. Tea is serious business in my house.

hard to choose one, it depends
when it's summer and classic chocolate bars are melting, then I got them into fridge when it's cold outside, then hot chocolate is everything I need

Can't be bothered with a teapot Paul!!? What kind of Brit are you?? Put the kettle on to boil Warm the teapot Put the kettle on to boil again Add 2 bags Yorkshire to the teapot Pour boiling water Let sit Stir with tea tongs Let sit warm and cozy in its tea cozy Drink with a bit of milk. And that's how it's done There are a few additions I feel the urge to make, the boils must be 5-10 min, the second boil should be left to cool depending on the type of tea, herbal teas should usually be around 95 degrees, stronger teas, like black teas should be 98 degrees, teas that fall in the middle are usually around 97 degrees. Since I normally use loose leaf teas tongs are replaced by a bamboo whisk and usually only used for fine leafed teas like matcha (which is actually a powder) tea is served immediately after whisking however is not consumed right a way. Milk is a no go and much like adding wasabi to sushi is an insult to the person preparing the tea; it says that I over steeped the tea and you need to make it milder. Once again this really only happens if I am doing a tea ceremony for someone. And now that I think of it might be more Japanese than British.

I love strong tea, Barry's is my preferred brand. I leave the tea bag in my cup as I drink it. I'm not a very big chocolate eater but I did fall in love with Tony's Chocolonely while in Amsterdam last Spring.
