Seems like vegan is def on the horizon Paul. I have a family I am friends with that is veggie. Their little girls are too. The parents were always but have decided to and were vegan for a time but found it super difficult. They also still eat fish like twice a year. Not sure why. They girls are allowed to eat whatever they want even if they wanted meat. But because they werent raised eating it I am unsure why they would. The one girl will look at her mom when people eat meat and say "mommy do they not know where that comes from?" They said if she knew where eggs and milk and cheese came from she would not eat that either. But of course as she starts school she will find all those things out.
My mom and wife could easily eat veggies and fish only. I just dont think i could stop eating meat. I love it too much. But i totally understand the rational behind stopping. Especially with the gross practices we have over here. I just have to not thing about it when i eat.

Eggs are on shelves next to the flour! Here they are either in cooled open air cases by yogurt, butter etc or sometimes in the front of store in a open cooled case near the veggies. That is where they normally keep almond, coconut milk and organic dairy.

I'm steering away from meat. I do a lot of cooking and I just don't enjoy cooking meat.

Being vegan isn't actually much harder once you get used to it. Of course if you have grown up eating meat it will take a bit of a learning curve.
Personally I'm not against meat, I'd prefer if it was hunted, bow hunted would be even better. But I morally can't consume dairy. So I suppose if you had to label my diet it would be Paleo.
As for chocolates, best chocolate ever is Leonidas from Belgium, after that everything tastes like crap! Thankfully my in laws are in Belgium and bring some with them when they visit us.
