A debate yes but it doesn't mean they will hold another referendum.

Yeah, of course but I didn't expect a debate.

I *think* they have to debate any realistic petition (ie not like the one asking Obama to build a death star ;p) that gets over 10,000 signatures, though the government already responded to it at the weekend and basically said the initial vote has to be respected. I'm interested to see where the debate takes the whole issue, though, so I'm glad it's happening regardless.

The more chat the better.
Man, England really fucked up this time didn't they??
I can't vote for the PM even if I wanted to - but I gotta live with the decisions made by the people who can. It stinks.
I just hope that Corbyn stays. He's the only voice of reason left.

I saw something yesterday comparing Corbyn's political career to the 'Stonecutters' episode of The Simpsons..... it does fit rather perfectly!
We're just waiting for the Blairites to break off and form the "No-Jeremys" club, now.

Yep... and now she's brought in Andrea Leadsom (who has previously opposed wind farming and EU renewable energy targets) as environment secretary.
You couldn't make this shit up.

We're cruising towards WWIII. Churchill himself could only be a wartime PM.

(not strictly EU but it's political so I'm putting it here) Wow, I didn't expect this to work... the High Court has ruled that it's illegal for Labour to ban new members from voting and the ban looks like being overturned. www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-37009871I wonder what will become of all the money paid with that £25 fee the other week to become eligible, now...

The mess that is British politics? Yes it's still appropriate and relevant as we're having to deal with the shambolic fallout, but hey that's OK because we're getting ready to watch the great American implosion about to take place.
