When I first met you Ri in London, 5 years or something ago, I was completely knocked off my feet how cool you and your dreads were together. They definitely suit you well. I had to pretend not to be speechless.

Considering bleaching some of my dreads white but I know it'd be SUCH A PAIN IN THE ARSE to keep them that way, looking at how my blonde ends have given away to the darker colour, in places.

I have some bleach and turquiose hair dye I need to use up at home. I think I want to get turquiose baby dreads this weekend. I just have to find some plastic gloves.

Regarding Your natural colour it's been a tough task! with mine it wouldn't be easier, I think that doing it wrong way could result in becoming a redhead xD

lol that's the worry I have.... I'm going to have to bleach the "newer growth" first anyway otherwise that probably will just wind up orange with the rest white. So it'll take a couple of bleaching sessions and I have time to decide or change my mind.
It must be like a year since I last did anything to change the appearance of my hair, it's weird.

bleaching can be highly damaging, one girl told me that she bleached few times from ginger to platinium blonde or something like that and she regretted lost length, on the other hand she was satisfied with final colour on her head, so it has both pros and cons btw. I decided not to make any extensions, though I thought about doing it for few at the back (I still keep lots of undreaded hair, which I picked from my hairbrush, in a plastic bag )

Oh I've bleached probably 7-8 times lol. My hair's mostly been fine, besides looking a little scorched....

so not bad, some people on Polish forums admitted they overused it and it can make serious breakages, but if everything with Your set is fine, then no worry

Bleach my roots probably every 8-10 weeks, and have been doing that for approx 15 years! It's about doing it properly - do it wrong and you'll destroy your hair (which I have done and learnt from it!). Learn to do it properly and no issues

My mother was a hairdresser and she experimented with my hair 24/7 bleaching dyeing highlighting etc and my hair was always health so I have to agree with ale it's all in how it's done.

Lmao I wanted a perm too but was too scared to damage my hair. I just think curly hair is awesome but I don't think it would look good with my big nose lol.

I really wish dreadlocks were detachable just so I could take a weekend off every now and then or something.
My scalp is really itchy tonight - I put off washing it by a day because I think the bleaching kit I ordered might come tomorrow - and I was literally fantasising earlier about just shaving my head.
