Boooom-shacka-lacka!!!! Feeling great 3 months after having my third baby Had to share. I haven't been "working out" but I've been breastfeeding, baby wearing at least 2-3 hours a day, eating healthy, and hiking/walking all the time.

MamaKittyLove looking great! I can't wait to start shrinking back to a recognisable size and shape after baby, but I'm starting to enjoy the uncharacteristic curves I use an exercise bike here and there but gotta be more strict with it

I developed tendonitis on my left elbow Wearing a sleeve, being tender with it, and switching my mouse back to the right-hand side.

Ok guys. I have recently started to run a little after my weight training. I have had numerous foot surgeries so running isnt super easy for me and i had completely stopped for about three years because my feet hurt too much. So far so good with a few times a week. My question is- any advice for keeping dreads up and out of the way during running? They are so damn hot. I usually use the soft cloth like headband things to hold them back in a pony tail. Which does ok for running but they lay on my neck. If i try to wrap them into a bun with this same thing they always just fall loose shortly into the run. Any tips?

I wear a high pony wrapped with one of my dreads when running. The tips barely touch my back. I have a back of the neck undercut that I think helps as well.

Hey! jxbx i can tie them back in a pony with a couple dreads but much movement they usually come loose. Maybe they just aren't quite long enough. I have never successfully tied them into an updo or anything which would be nice to have them out of the way. I just wondered if anyone else any trade secrets. Ha

Ha Try this: Dreads stay off my back when I'm running or standing straight. I'll still feel the brush of 'em but for the most part it stops the "blanket effect."

I dont understand how a bun would be in the way! gingerdreadman Um, also, an idea, idk whatthey are called, but those like large bands...actually Chris wore one in the beginning of a video...lemme see... haha oh yes, this one! Its similar to the visor/pony thing jxbx has, but without the brim. Heehee bet chris never thought hed be mentioned in this thread! (Ok, idk!) C And now, I finally got moving today...some core training. Pilates-ish type stuff...and calf raises...and some plyometrics-ish things?? Im just plugging along these days, but I'll get there! Back to workout mode soon...maybe ^^
