A new show started last night on channel 4 ('Electric Dreams') that's based on Philip K Dick short stories. Of the books of his I've read, I've only read his novels but I can't wait to watch!

Currently rewatching Rizolli and Isles, and Blue Bloods. I tend to bounce around a lot. But if I'm rewatching a show I remember, I don't mind if I miss bits and pieces due to being busy, or falling alseep, haha.

Oh I love supernateral! Unfortunately don't watch it anymore as my child is still awake when it comes on and I'm lame with no way to record it. I buy every season as it comes out though. And can't wait to catch up. we watched the season premiere of the new star trek last night. Still early for a verdict though.

Off to Birmingham tonight to see 'IT' with a friend.
Updated: I enjoyed the movie! I liked the new Pennywise, although some of the cgi effects made him less scary. He had great movement though.

So I really enjoyed 'IT'. I didn't like the way that they used CGI to try and make Pennywise more monstrous (especially since he already looks terrifying just in the makeup) as I was pulled out of the story at those moments, BUT I really liked this interpretation of the character. I know that comparisons to 'Stranger Things' are a little ridiculous, since this was the kind of thing that originally inspired that show, but the cinematography (and casting, in one instance) is very reminiscent so I can understand why people have been saying that.
But yeah, great movie. Could have maybe done with them not going with the "damsel in distress" stereotypical gender roles but I can look past it.

I started watching "the good doctor", I've enjoyed it so far. But, I've also been watching Freddie Highmore in things since he was little, and always loved him.

Watched the new Bladerunner. Fantastic cinematography throughout, a bleak world indeed, expanded by the cold mechanical soundtrack. Less action than expected with long drawn out lonesome scenes. Glad I saw it at the cinema. I feel something engaging was missing that the original had though.

I've been a bit reluctant to see it because it's not PKD's story and I loved the original book more than the movie. But then 'The Man In The High Castle' did a good job of going beyond the source material with season 2, when I was hesitant, so I should probably give it a chance.

Wrong thread, I know, but I started reading 'IT' after seeing the movie. It's such a big book that it's uncomfortable to hold in the bath, though!
