Trying to dread my bangs

The most of my hair have been dreading for almost 1,5 year now. I used the backcomb/crochet method and then went freeform with them since. 2 weeks ago I started dreadning my bangs too. I made small sections, so I couldn't use the backcomb/crochet method again. So I used the twist and rip/backcomb method and secured the roots and ends with rubber bands. Now 2 weeks later, they are starting to lock up. I think they will be solid enough for me to take out the bands in two weeks time. Since we have the same hair quality and lenght when we started, I think it will be interesting for you to see my timeline, so you know what to expect. I haven't made it yet, but I will tell you when I have.

I love your timeline. Mine were a crazy mess too. But somehow I miss that stage. They will get their shit together soon enough! You are beautiful by the way!

Blonde! Boy, was it hard to spread the dye! Do many of you dye your ropes?

Oh wow. They're crazy. Brilliant. They will sort themselves out in time and those crazy loops and lumps will become tight ropes. Don't worry. It's all normal. But I love how wild they are right now. Real respect for that. Honestly the more crazy they are now the more awesome your set will be in time. I've witnessed it countless times.
