So this is driving me crazy. I guess the side I sleep on is dreading up a LOT faster. Just let it be?

They look like they're knotting up great! Mine shrunk way more on one side too for a while then they evened out, I'm guessing yours will too!

Sleep on the other side? Yeah, I remember cammy's timeline that one side shrinkage too. Hehe But hey at least you are making progress! And while mine aren't one sided, I DO have some hair more straight than others...I mean, significant like that. Like I have patches of really knottyness and patches of absolutely no knots, so it is perfectly normal, but we can understand and relate to the annoyances.

Thanks for the compliments and reassurance! This is such a rad community, it's so nice having the support from people who are going through or have gone through the same experiences!

Cute dreads. I love the loops. I think, your hair reminds me of my own hair. Your hair are scandinavian/fine right? Did you dread your bangs? And how many dreads do you have?

I personally like an asymmetrical hair do the other side will catch up. maybe a side part will make it less noticeable if it bothers you. they look AWESOME!

Yes, very fine, thin hair. I did try to dread my bangs, twice, actually! But they have fallen out both times so I'm just letting them do their thing. I had 37 when we started them! How long have you been dreading yours?

The easiest way to dread is to let it go. The hardest way to dread is to let it go.

Madness!!! You're getting it all, kinks, loops, shrinkage...I think I see a "splat" as well. So much progress!

It's where a bunch of loops get together in a circle and hang out for a bit.

After your comment on my timeline i just had to come check yours out!! I think (in my opinion) why you are seeing so much craziness is because of how loosly tnr'd they were originally done. Plus with pretty large sections. I have a few underneath the sides of my face that are like that. You've given them lots of room to do their own thing, thats all. Just let em do their thing and remember to keep them separated from eachother while they are being wild i bet your outcome is going to have so much character! I try not to mess with mine too much but one thing i do is after a shower i kinda hang my head upside down and look in my body mirror and palm roll the heck outta the loopy ones to help them work into more of a cylindrical form. I dont do that every shower though..theres not always time I also use this time to separate them as they are trying to eat eachother like mad and i find it easier done when wet. I so look forward to seeing how yours turn out!
