Btw just spoke with my coworker regarding our conversation and he actually took a seminar with Hawkins Cheung Nice! $10 says he talked a lot. He loved to share the theoretical side of kung fu. Made it hard to work out with him though because you get to working out, then he'd cut you off and theorize then demonstrate, then you'd be all cold again...hehe. He's one of three guys, I felt so much energy from that I swear that they could turn bones into dust on contact.

Ever heard of Daniel K Pai? Hawaiian grand master of Pai Lum Maybe... I was in a comp in Hawaii and there was a school called Sim Lum Pai represented there. All of them down to the 5 yo were in tune, in touch, and deadly...I was impressed!!! Same school?

QUESTION-what IS better for young dreads during workouts-tying them up to keep away from sweat OR leaving them down to let them move and knot? so long, but maybe updates here will actually keep me motivated. I always try to keep 'em off my neck and back using a high pony just because it's hot. My hair is so thick I am unable to totally sweat soak them like some people can.

A lot of stretching, a short run, some abs, mostly triceps. Legs are still and little sore from the Mud Run. I didn't train enough hills like I should have and I'm paying for it now

I'm not sure if I can manage to work out today. My legs are really sore, no idea why my cycle needs to mess up my exercising! I might just push through it and then eat some chocolate

I did exercise yesterday. It felt pretty tough. I also did a proper push-up! I did have to do the rest on my knees, but I'm improving

I'm just starting up again now that I'm done with school. Have a slight problem that I'm not cleared by my doc to workout my upper body yet. So that's really limiting right now. I just finished hand therapy and now I'm on to physio to sort out my shoulder and back before getting sent back for hand therapy. Anyways, at least I can do cardio!

I had a frozen shoulder that took 3 months of PT to get it feeling normal. Then another 3 months to get strong enough where I felt that I could beat it up all over again...hehe. Injuries suck but hopefully you'll be back in no time...good luck and godspeed!!
