Haha. Nice! Grandaddy long dreads. So yours kinda stopped? Or do you feel they are pretty much just on par with normal length gain? Hoe long would you let them go before cutting again?

It's growing, I can't really say if it's growing slower/faster than normal hair growth rate because I've only ever had my own to go by ha. I'll probably trim it at a certain length but I don't know what that is yet, which means I'm not close.

it's weird that they're 22 years old and with only this length! he must have trimmed them

Some of them are down to his waist so they're not that short, but yeah, you'd expect much longer.

turns out his dreads are bigger then they appear, i guess the big ones got flexability also also i mapped out my sections on a head diagram makes it seem better in my eyes.

If it looks similar to this pattern on head sketch, then IMHO it's not bad still a lot of space, the question is how big sections will rest dreads have...

I would say you have as many, if not one or two more, sections as I do in those areas.

I blame my ocd for over thinking it at least it's better then appears. It will be unique to have a variety of dreads I guess The back is backcombed and I did a twist n rip test on the sides about 1 month in.
