Gillian, we use yon in many ways - yon thing there would mean that thing there.
We also say waine for child or small thing, yoke means anything (literally - pass me that yoke, the yoke of him, etc)
The cut of him - how he looks
There's so many!!
Also, try saying Caoimhe or Conchobar lol

Fuck - we use it every other word in normal speech. It's not offensive. The more you use it the more interested/ passionate you are in It is used a lot here but is usually still consider a "swear word." If it is used a lot over there,is it to the point where it goes on tv and what not unedited? Would you get in trouble for using it in school?

School, yes. Still in trouble. And it wouldn't be acceptable still for a child to use it.
Generally with the accents it sounds more like Feck. Irish radio doesn't censor it.

On the subject of TV, it might also be interesting to note that anything goes after 9pm, here. When I was looking for a clip of a Geordie accent, I found an "Americans React" video to a British show and literally the first thing that shocked them was that there was full-frontal male nudity within the first 5 seconds lol.

I have no clue what she was saying and the accent was still one of the cutest things i have ever heard. I feel if in another life i had married an Irish woman or dated one that even when she cussed or yelled at me. I would just smile because of that damn adorable accent.

That is nuts! We basically have HBo "channel Game of thrones is on" and cinemax that pretty much are whatever goes whenever. But you pay extra for those channels on typical cable packages. A lot of common curse words are starting to become desensitized to the masses here mainly from their use in rap/hip hop or music in general. You start to hear them on the radio and tv uncensored more and more. I think cable wise they get a little bit looser on the beeping out around 9pm or 10pm here. But is def not full naked dudes. I know friends talked about traveling abroad and seeing nudity on billboards and stuff in Germany. We 'mericans just seem to be more freaked out about things that seem pretty normal over there.i.e. Drinking, nudity, etc. We get out panties in a bunch easily if you will.

Haha...
I've just realised another we should add to the list of sweary exclamations (and it's what the little girl yelled at the end) - "Fuckin' hell!"

Haha she is English, I didn't mean to imply she was Irish. Also, gingerdreadman, the little girl's accent would be considered very "common" in the spectrum of British accents. I'm not sure what the US equivalent would be... I want to say redneck but that's not really right.

Oh shit. I do not want to start a war by calling English and Irish the wrong thing. Tea would be the least of my worries!
They really do say it non stop. Haha. I cant imagine my mom ever saying it let alone like that. It would be way different.

I am not sure everyone has rednecks around them here. I certainly live in the middle of 80% rednecks. Or the negative form "hilljacks.l hear people say " i am a hillbilly not a redneck" but that isnt a word i have ever really heard people use in conversation.
