What is everybody's favorite dread accessory?! Share pics if you feel so inclined.
May be helpful to others to share where you like to buy your stuff too! (Although I am in the USA and it seems like most members are across the pond) I usually find Etsy as the main place to get beads and the like over here.

I don't wear any currently so none to show, but FlameTouchedGlass has always been a really popular etsy shop with our community www.etsy.com/shop/FlameTouchedGlass(there are a few more shops under the 'Links' tab)

We have a similar thread on the old DT with lots and lots of contributions and, as that site is about to vanish, I thought I'd preserve some of them and post them here! These are grabbed from the thread in the order they were posted with the usernames below. My bead from Carlene. Carlene's beads. Caboose's bead. Jared's knotty sleeve. Olly's bead. Lilly's decorations. Lazydreads' decorations. danzia's beads.

More from danziaMissNomad's beads. iriemama's decorations. @therugbyplatypus' decorations. kaylalinde's decorations. And that's it from the old forum! As you can see, LOTS of FlameTouchedGlass beads ha.

I'd forgotten about this one! It went walkabout years ago.

Awesome! Thanks for taking the time to share all of those. Some really cool beads.
Olly that bead looked tight enough to be permanently stuck on that dread. Ha
Problem I run into is i have only tried clay and polymer beads. The polymer break and the clay are nice but to get to such a large diameter to fit you have to go quite large. Most of the metal ones I have came across are fairly small in dia. Most of my dreads are pretty big other than a few real small ones around my ears or back of neck. I have thought about letting them congo. I am still undecided on that. But i did let three congo on the back of the neck early one. It is a pretty sweet beefy dread. Just worry about too many congos and even harder dry time.

My Bastet bead :/ also made by flame touched glass <3 I have no decoration as I honestly don't know where to start. Seriously. Don't say "oh just whatever you think" as I don't have a creative mind at all. But I plan to let people decorate them if they want to.

My best friend bought me a ring on leap year as a joke and we're going to put it on a dread instead.
I'm sad as my little angels had to get cut out as I needed an MRI.

One of the clay beads I got off etsy. Thing is a monster because I was looking for a large diameter to be able to pull over a dread. A lot of my dreads have folded up on the bottoms and have large fat sections at the end so it is hard to find beads I can use.
