Right, so Bogus Journey. Saw it when I was about 10 with my best friend at the cinema (where we both ended up working, oddly enough). It sticks with me, even though it's not a GREAT film, because a lot of things that the adult me loves are represented and I had no idea until I revisited... it's like it planted the seed of my true self in my head as a youngster! For one, there's my favourite comedian, George Carlin, playing Rufus. Had no idea who he was then. Megadeth are featured on the soundtrack. Jim Martin from Faith No More is in the film, and they're now a favourite band of mine. Obviously, Bill and Ted are metalheads.... There was also a Bill & Ted comic in the 90s that I used to collect and I still follow the artist, Evan Dorkin, on social media today. I've actually commissioned a piece from him that's kind of Bill & Ted paying respect to George Carlin via Rufus... it's not finished yet but I'll share it with you guys when I get it And this song, from the film, still makes me feel emotional haha. I saw KISS at Download last year and they played this through the speakers after the band finished, when we were walking back to the tents.

And this one. I think this was the equivalent to Goonies in MY day...at least that's my thinking.

Flight of the Navigator. I just loved it as a kid. It was on TV a few weeks back and I almost squealed.

ET!!! It probably helped that I was around the same age as the kid when I first saw it. I watch it every couple of years or so (it's one of my Halloween movies) and I still get teary-eyed at the end
And it was probably one of the factors in my love for sf; another movie I fondly remember is Dune (although that one hasn't held up so well...)

The Goonies, what a classic.
monster squad, the lost boys, back to the future, indiana jones, killer klowns from outer space, the dark crystal, labyrinth, flight of dragons.
80s kid for sure...
