Another carried over from the old forum. A lot of people here experience ASMR (tingles in the head/ears from various sound triggers via headphones) so here's a place to discuss and share your favourite vids from the hundreds of ASMRtists on YouTube. I know a lot of people use ASMR videos to sleep, I mostly use them to relax or calm down. It often feels like getting a soul massage lol. I've been listening to this whilst reading, lately.

I don't get it from ASMR videos tbh. Just certain songs, such as The Sleep by Pantera (one specific note in the solo).

Have you tried different triggers with the videos? I actually find a very small amount of the popular ones do anything for me, and I definitely can't watch the personal attention/roleplay ones because they make me too self-aware and uncomfortable lol.
Most of the time I don't actually watch them, I just have them on while I'm reading or over the top of podcasts, but I have noticed that watching the videos (when you can see the microphone) does increase the effect.

oh gawd! so sorry for being here all day...but oh wow! I tried this and just could not stand it! (with headphones) Not only did my ears tingle, my shoulders jumped up and down too! Not sure what the normal reaction is, but this was very uncomfortable for me...could you please tell me what this means? (if it helps any, I could not stand those nerve tests-EEG or something.) Do people actually listen to this whole thing in one go!??!? *shivers*) goodnight!
