I've never really got into podcasts... I like some of the Ricky Gervais show but that's it really.

Started listening to Savage Lovecast again. I think I've learnt a lot of what I feel I know about progressive relationships/non-monogamy from that show.

I don't listen to any podcasts! I was listening to Welcome to Nightvale for a while but honestly I find it hard to concentrate on them. It's why I don't like audiobooks either.

I've fallen out of the habit of listening to the radio recently. In my workshop the only radio channel I can get a signal for is Classic FM, and the adverts get irritating after a while, so I'm thinking downloading some podcasts might be the way to go as I don't have an internet/wi fi signal in there either to be able to stream anything. So far I've listened to one episode of the Potters Cast, interviewing a New Zealand potter. I found it useful in that I've been out of the studio for the last couple of months, mine and the group studio I use, and it's easy to lose focus when you're used to having people around you working on their own stuff. So hearing others talk about their work is helping my own levels of enthusiasm again. thepotterscast.com/

Addicted to 'The Dollop' lately. Some amazing stories from American history in there.

I've recently discovered podcasts, more or less by accident; I tried a couple of times previously but always found it difficult to concentrate. Turns out that if I listen to something that is more like an 'audio drama' (with multiple voice actors, sound effects etc; like cinema without the image) I do a lot better! I have an app installed on my phone and download a bunch of episodes via wifi, so I can listen anywhere. Some of my favorites are: - Homecoming (this one is Brilliant!! First season has a more or less completed arc, second season is starting later this month. Can't wait!) - Limetown (pretty much the x-files while they were good) - Wolf 359 (funny, scifi. Starts out as standalone episodes, but I think later an arc develops) - The Bright Sessions (therapy for the strange and unusual) - We're Alive (zombies) Non-fiction: - No Such Thing as a Fish (from the people who write QI; hilarious) - Burnt Toast (stuff relating to food, sort of) - Nocturne (dreamy and calm, great to listen to before going to bed) - The Loser's Club (for hardcore Stephen King fans; loooong chats about a single book, alternated with King news updates {which I find less interesting}. I can have this on in the background for hours) Plus there are dozens more that I've subscribed to, but haven't really delved in yet. (I find quite a few of the non-fiction podcasts I often see recommended not to my liking, either because of their subjects, or because of the hosts, guests, their voices etc...) It makes going for long walks and doing household chores a lot more fun! A bit like those dreams you have sometimes, where you discover a whole new room in your house that is filled with new and interesting books.... Or perhaps that's just me. I used to feel frustrated that I couldn't read and walk or cycle at the same time - and now I can, sort of!

Yeah I listen a lot whilst walking, too!
You might enjoy 'The Dollop', I'm finding it very informative and funny. If you like QI then you might dig it.
