yeah, i really like the brightly colored ones Kezi! ok, just sending these over here...and adding one more so it's not a total waste to your eyes. Finally got my "gauge" earrings gingerdreadman ! But Claire's didn't have them. I had to go to Hot Topic (which was cool, cuz I hadn't been there in like a lifetime!) Surprised that I am actually a 16, could've gone 14, if I wanted to stretch. (oh yes, cue the eager saleslady. ) Anyway, I really like HotTopic! haha will have to go again! was cool that hubby isn't scared, because I know it isn't a place for everyone. Serious question though folks, how do you fasten the hoops? (there are no screws or pointy edges, it just closes like a necklace loop. pliers??) oh! and can't forget my price piece...some new shoes! (this is back home though.) eh, and I also took a pic of my old boots (they actually DO go a bit higher and support the ankle) ah yes, my ankle boots LeRemy

I don't have drawstring ones, just plain cotton no strings attached.
Did you figure out the earrings?

You just pull them back down and the string goes back in. Yours may be an imitation of mine though, so the quality and ease might be different. Also mine are not scratchy.. They feel like high thread-count sheets xD Also, check the washing instructions. Mine are hand painted so need to be hand washed carefully.

Just thought I'd bump this. It was popular on the old site. I got no style, that's ma style. But I was liking my new cords. I feel at home in them rather than my black jeans.

It's all about dark, off the shoulder tshirts and teeny hot pants. Nerd shirts for the win also.

Realllly want burgundy cords again. I had them as a kid but lost them in many a house move.
Maybe not as madly flares as they were in the 90s... but a little larger than bootcut - I still love my flares

I love my cords. I eventually got over my mortification of having to wear cord flares on a middle school trip when all the other kids had moved on to the more fashionable tighter trousers of the early eighties. The nineties revisiting was fun. I have a sewing pattern kicking around from then with some interesting takes on flares... I actually made those trousers, but ended up taking the flare in so they were straight... they just didn't look right in the fabric type I'd picked.
