yeah. I was actually having an afterthought that once again, in a different way, we have something in common now...those few older dreads amidst a new set. so...yeah, gonna be interested how ...but wait, you are doing t&r again? anyway, it's cool. best wishes! and thanks, i'm pretty good too. <3 Did you get rid of some dreadies too? Or do you have older ones along with your current set? And yes, I had wanted to do all backcombing this time, but my hair just didn't really take to it as well as I had thought! Maybe I was doing it wrong, I'm not sure.

Or do you have older ones along with your current set? mostly that, but I did comb out a few, because I'm doing a partial set (like the lower half), and so i took out a few upper ones. (it was really sad, but it's more practical this way) yeah, t&r is so easy to do. i mean, backcombing is too, but maybe it works better for different types or...or from doing it wrong. i tried like every method at one point haha but i think i WAS doing backcomb wrong, like I wasn't backcombing over and over one small section enough for the knots to really form deep. But, (surprise surprise) I have to say LazyDreads has a great instructional video for this. Oh ok! I'm sure the partial looks great and lazydreads has great instructionals for everything I think haha. I ended up not minding doing TnR again, I'm not crazy about the braided look for a while but at least I know I like the texture I end up with with that method

Comb out!! No need to worry about it. Dreads can come and go like anything else We should all put the "in-between" times in our timelines because it more accurately describes a lifetime of dreadheadness...hehe. Anyhow, the brush out looks great and so does the new start!!

I just love your timeline. Seeing all your stages is encouraging and now you're starting over!! I understand that need for a fresh start.. I have frequently changed my hair in the past and now my dreads are attempting to teach me patience. Thank you for posting so many pics and I look forward to following your new journey!

It's a great timeline even with the restart. All your comments throughout the photos of it not looking like you had dreads... yes you did! We're always the most critical about our own progress though. Enjoy the second set!

Looking wonderful! Restarting really seems to have worked great for you. They were beautiful before, but I feel like they'll be even better this time around!

I'm glad I'm not the only one to comb out, regret it horribly, and start again! Your first set was beautiful! Love song your second set mature
