So I have had my locks for a little over 5 years now. I am thinking of brushing out half of the dreads up in front so that I have basically a "dread tail" of 13 dreads or so all in the back and keeping my hair long in the front. I am a little worried on how difficult it is going to be to manage the hair style since I figure my dreads are going to trying to eat up the undreaded hair. Does anyone have a similar hairstyle with dreads that are mature? How difficult is it to manage? Are you constantly having to separate out the hair and how often- daily? weekly? monthly? Thanks!
