Hi everyone, I've seen so many inspiring time lines here over the last year and I wanted to finally share my own. I started my dreads in December 2015 and it's been just over 1 year! I'm so happy I was patient. I love them now. I have more random photos on my Instagram if any of you are there, same username juneonesix I started them on my own, with a few wrapped braids here and there, and then decided to go full dread-head. I did the sectioning myself, the twisting and backcombing myself as well, kind of blindly. A couple of months later I had a pro loctician in town (outside the US) help me crochet them to tidy them up. No products were used throughout. No wax or sprays. Just a residue free shampoo and 2 sessions of crochet maintenance in the whole year. I compiled them all in a video I hope that's okay. I love connecting with other dreadheads so please feel free to comment, ask questions, whatever. Enjoy!
