Help please Young dreads will look frizzy and kind of crazy for the first year I would recommend palm rolling if you want to help them I guess not look as crazy but I'd stay away from crocheting and using wax. Dolly locks has this spray called tightening spray and it helped my frizz a lot when mine were younger

The easiest way to dread is to let it go. The hardest way to dread is to let it go.

Frizz is your friend!! The frizzier, the more likely and quickly they will lock.

3 days is nothing. My back combed babies didn't calm down until more than a week old. Frizz is normal for young dreadlocks and there's no escaping it, unless you do harmful and damaging maintenence methods 😉

Just don't worry. It's the biggest trick to growing dreadlocks, not worrying or thinking too much. My hair looked crazy for a couple of years before they really looked like proper dreads, so you just need to sit in tight for the ride.

Got any hats? I think that'll help rub on the knots to tighten.

Just get a big beanie or tam to hide your hair, while public. Ain't worth worriyng about it at home.

Large headbands for dreads and palm roll. I use a tightening powder called "peppa locks" once or twice a week. And put a hair tie on your dreads just dont wrap it around so you dont indent your locks.
