What would cause this? I'm thinking it might be from lack of movement with my hair? It almost feels like it did when I'd wear it up to long prior to dreading it.

Maybe you got some dreads that are too tight at the root?

They're 4 months young. They are all super loose at the roots. I think I was wearing them up to tight. I might try the Tgel anyway though, my head has definitely been more itchy lately. I had the "lice" dream last night. That was awful.

Ah...maybe. If so, then you wanna loosen that...not just for your scalp but in order for your hair to dread as well. They still need some wiggle room to lock.
