I watched Downfall again the other day. Such a great film. It was also nice to see a couple of the German actors who were in "Lexx", specifically the guy who played Mr President in series 3 and 4. Lexx, I've been rewatching that on youtube too. I'm watching The last Samurai right now. Great film, I could watch this again and again...and I have.

We have the Lexx films on dvd... it's a while since they had an airing. I don't think I've seen the tv series. Most recently we've been catching up with Agents of Shield and Gotham, of which Gotham is my favourite right now. I also persuaded my youngest to watch Beowulf: Return to the Shieldlands with me, which he's since classed as 'Awesome!' hopefully not just because there's a chance he'll see his Mum in the background. Seriously people, watch Beowulf please. We need the viewing figures so there's more likelihood of another series being made, and right now the North-East needs big budget productions like this as not many come our way. It's not Game of Thrones despite the opening credits being horribly similar, nor is it Vikings. What it is, is a fantasy aimed at younger viewers, loosely based on the Anglo-Saxon story of Beowulf (also written in the North-East of England, and the poem Tolkien took as inspiration for the Hobbit and Lord of the Rings), set in a mythical iron-age time frame with monsters, warriors, strong female characters and plenty of adventure. It took a few episodes to get going, but it's been getting better which I know doesn't seem like a great plug... watch it, it gets better after a while... However I'm enjoying it, and I like both GoT and Vikings. I just don't think ITV helped themselves by giving it a slot on a Sunday rather than a Saturday to fill the gap Dr Who left, and they haven't exactly been promoting it to the best of their abilities either. Is that enough of a begging plea/rant? Sundays at 7pm on ITV, or Esquire Network in the USA Last film I saw at the cinema was Deadpool - went on Sunday with the hairier half. Absolutely brilliant... was laughing the moment the opening credits started!

Ha, Olly has started it from the pilot, too....... I think he's a few episodes ahead of you now. It's quite interesting to see a modern take on the earlier series because, I love them, but I'm not sure if they hold up too well on the whole.
Also, *waves* hi Christian.

Hey Christian!
Lol yeah, but I've not been watching it for a week or so for some reason. I'll get back on it later I reckon.

Man I loved the goosebumps books and point horror books growing up. I actually have a goosebumps collect able on my book shelf.
13 episodes into The Black List and I'm completely hooked. What a fab story, even if the female lead annoys me so

Also, went to see Deadpool at the weekend, definitely a change of pace compared to most of the other comic book movies that I've seen lately.

Watched the first season of "Better Call Saul" on Netflix this weekend. I am undecided how I feel about the show. I think I like it so far.

Just watched Cowboys and Aliens. I wouldn't not recommend it or recommend it. You get what the title suggests. Surprised at the A list cast of Harrison Ford and Daniel Craig. Sort of film you'd expect to have unknown actors in it.
