Okay, so my dreads are 4 months old. I regularly play football(Soccer) but at the same time i carefully wash my dreads and try to dry them as perfectly as i can. But from last 3 days i get that wet-moldy smell from my dreads!!! Any suggestions!!!??!!?!??

Can you give us some specifics about your care routine? How often do you wash? How long is it taking them to dry? Are your towels clean? Mostly that smell develops either from not allowing dreads to dry fully between washing OR it'll pick it up from mildewy towels...
Try doing a deep clean (basin of hot water, 1/2 - 3/4 cup baking soda, 2 tablespoons lemon juice, 2 tablespoons salt, soak for 15-30 minutes, rinse well) to make sure you're eradicating any nasties.

I had this musky wet smell in my almost two year old dreads. I couldn't seem to get rid of it. They would only have the smell when wet. I think I washed my locs too often. When I cut/combed them out, there was no mold or mildew...so I'm still confused over what it was exactly.

That happens to my dreads a few times a year, and the deep clean cures it 100%. A long soak in hot baking soda will deodorize anything! It also helps to wash your bath towels on hot, adding a few cups of vinegar with the detergent. Dreads seem to really pick up odor from the towels you dry them with, if there's the slightest musty smell in the towel you'll get stinky hair.
