Yeah it definitely was more of an adults cartoon! Not in the same way South Park is, but a lot of its humour was 'grown up'.

Simpsons has been replaced by Family Guy now, which is much worse, but yeah Simpsons was somewhat frowned upon. South Park, well we didn't have cable (as I've said) so...didn't watch much, but enough. I was recently looking up something...eh, I forget which episodes...haha but I will never forget the TrapperKeeper one (i think?) because we totally loved those TrapperKeepers growing up. Hell! I use similar things now! just without the cartoons on them.

Rewatching a lot of "kids" shows, I'm amazed at the number of more adult jokes going on that went straight over my head when i was younger. Its an innocent example but Toy Story comes to mind - "i think that's enough tea for today!" when buzz is acting all drunk like as Mrs Nesbit. I didn't get the alcohol comparison/joke but then i was really innocent with that stuff

I haven't watched The Simpsons or Family Guy in about 9 years so I have no idea if it's still good or not. I don't have a TV subscription nor do I ever want one. More favourites - He-man, Thundercats, Thunderbirds, Captain Scarlett, Stingray. Rainbow was brilliant but oh so creepy when you watch it back now. I loved George and had a massive soft toy of him. And this bird is part of the reason I loved birds!

I don't know anybody that knows what I'm talking about when I mention The Bluffers. It used to be on really early Saturday mornings I think back when we only had 4 tv channels. A bit like the Raccoons really. I never understood why the planet was a desk globe.
Even though I can barely remember it the damn theme tunes been stuck in my head since I was 6.

I wondered why some cartoons I watched were so odd. This is friggin' Spanish. But hey another darn tune my mind is cursed with. It's catchy... And they do everyone's favourite dance at the end...
