I work at lush and their skin care has helped my skin soooo much I used it long before I started working there. Also I get eczema behind my knees and my elbow ditch if I get too hot like my leg is bent or arm and the sweat makes it flare up. Dream cream is amazing for moisture and helps with irritated skin. I also use the herbalism face wash and they have a facial serum called full of grace that I use at night to moisturize that I use and then Indian healing clay like once a week for a mask and I'm looking for a nice sunscreen for my face but I'm skeptical because my face is sensitive and breaks out with certain things I don't really like Lush, I see it as a hipster version of The Body Shop and I don't like them either They don't necessarily have bad products. I haven't tried, so I can't tell. It's just too expensive for me personally. But they're good at making good-smelling body products thought.

I've tried many natural products but nothing worked really well for me. I have skin allergies and natural products are actually more likely to set them off than commercial products. Can't you try oils individually and sort out what you're allergic to?

ohphob I'm such a lushie! I just went to the local lush to stock up on bubble bars. I have an addiction to all their products - all my toiletries are lush except for my dread shampoo.

It's been 31 years since I developed the skin allergy, I've tried to narrow down what it is in that time but no luck.

Something that almost never gets considered is diet. For example if you were eating a lot of inflammatory foods you might not notice them causing an issue since they haven't hit the tipping point but then you add a topical cream that you are even slightly intolerant of and it's a full blown rash. If you had changed your diet and used the same cream your body may not react in the same fashion.
I happen to be allergic (intolerant) of much of the western world, it sucks but I have noticed with diet change and gut health I have been able to change things even food intolerances and allergies. I won't bore all of you with the details and I'm no expert on the matter just thought I would drop the seed for further exploration.
As for 'natural' products in North America natural actually doesn't mean anything; it's a buzz word. Never trust the front of a package always read the ingredients and find out where they actually come from and what they do and how they react to other things. For instance many 'natural' toothpastes contain vegetable glycerin, which on the surface seems harmless. However, glycerin coats your teeth and does not allow for re-mineralization meaning your teeth cannot heal and eventually the enamel will wear off and your cavities will get worse (there is also a genetic factor here). The other issue is what do you consider to be natural, I believe if I can't find it in nature without lab equipment then it's not natural enough.
Anyway just my thoughts.
