Looks like it's all going right dude. Dig the suit. It really goes well with your head when you have crazy hair.

Yours is gonna be a fun one to watch because yours look on the thin side, like mine. But you rock them so...

6 weeks update in and I'm happy with the progress, especially that the frizz is more around the sections rather than just a halo over my whole head.
Thanks @haircare I was thinking I preferred them thin, but as some are just starting to thicken, I'm starting to like them a bit thicker. I'm having fun seeing the process move along.

Yes yes yes. That's how they go. Mine pretty much started out like your pictures. I was really pleased with these tiny thin dreads which seems silly now. All that got swallowed up into larger dreads. Great to see the updates with your free form method.

The easiest way to dread is to let it go. The hardest way to dread is to let it go.

Thanks all. While I'm enjoying the changes I don't think I'll miss the level of frizz saralcat I'm happy geeking it up as a mad scientist KaTune jxbx heatherhyes, yours seem to be locking up really quickly! Wait, natural or t&r? Still-that is awesome! I think after almost 5 months neglect plus a little t&r, I am finally getting where you are now. Ha! So do you have to do alot of separating or are the sections holding well?

I did a little bit of t&r a couple of weeks in, in an attempt to keep some sections together that I liked. The sections I let form themselves. However, these seemed to be the ones that fell apart more. Most I've let do their own thing and at this point that's what seems to be forming the best. It's like the knots that are forming themselves want to stay and the knots I've forced find a way to come undone. I've only separated one bit which at the back of my head where one dreadling had reached across to the opposite side and was knotting up with end of another. Just a one off pull apart so far. Funny you say they're locking up quickly as I was feeling like it's slow. Guess it's hard to compare and I like most I'm sure I just want to see them mature.
