So in high school my cheerleading squad was invited to go to Houston Texas for a national competition... This was one of the worst memories that I can actually recall. Being stuck on a bus with some of the meanest backstabbing bee-otches in school..14 hrs staight. But I could tolerate those chicks more than the song they played on a nonstop loop the WHOLE RIDE THERE!! I kid you not this: (but please don't open the link below because it just might try and steal your precious souls!ha)((oh and if you like this song, I mean no disrespect... just not my cuppa tea is all))
Played for 14 hours straight.... arghh Luckily I had a handheld cassette deck with earphones playing: but it was still bleeding in from the sides.

Ah KaTune dont getme started on the dreaded school busrides! Ok, I dont know that song, but had to check to be sure (but yeah, i dont listen to very much country but) It reminded me of a few that came out when my siblings were in school and either I heard them or heard OF them. (Trucker hats were like something my sis's gen was getting into *rolls eyes And then brother somehow got into country, despite parents not liking it, and Mother being pretty vocal about her dislike, hehe of course she was still cute about it. ANYWAY) These ones. Hehe This came to mind immediately,... and this, well i just knew there was this "trucker hat song", but dont think i ever heard it.

Haha! No worries KaTune ! I am not so deterred by country. It just isn't my usual go-to...but I mean, a good song is a good song, whatever genre...eh, and well, pop country DID kindof change my opinion a bit...plus! It is music indigenous to our country, right? Ughhh, lol so well, we gotta embrace it a little. Although, I remember my firat day of...ok, well I guess this IS a school memory then...first day of one of my classes, and we had to listen to BLUEGRASS That was literally the worst music listening experience of my entire life! I think i listened one other time to be sure and had the same reaction. Literally hurt my ears and head!...although, now, the masochist within is curious again.

Now don't go hurting yourself on purpose sweetie! Ha. I love me some bluegrass, but it does register on a higher fequency, fast tempo, so I can see how an untrained ear could get physically sick listenin to it. You poor thing. My ears were adjusted by the time I was able to walk

Hahahahaaa oh Kat! hey, it cant be as bad as that...whatever that thing was on this site...that listening thing auditory something something (I wanna say ASPCA, haha but obviously it is NOT that. Ok, now I am curious if YOU can tolerate that. Go look for it on here. Not sure where it is ATM tho.) Nah, I can have a little taste Kat, suggest me something and ill getback to you...just be sure my emo screamo is right here on the ready to drown out any painful experience. Ahhahahaha suppose you can tag me/it in the music listening section, as we are kindof getting off topic again. ASMR dreadlocktruth.com/thread/84/asmr

I remember a skiing trip in middle school up to Aviemore in Scotland, where the soundtracks to the week were Queen's Greatest Hits and Madonna. It was great... riding in the bus everywhere yelling out all the words. I was fairly quiet in school, hated getting in trouble and generally tried hard and got bullied for it. By the time I got to sixth form I sort of slipped... I'd gone to a sixth form college rather than staying in school because they offered a history course my high school didn't cover, started drinking, smoking, bunking off art classes to go and smoke weed in the cemetery across the way, and generally became a rebellious little sod
