So I have had my dreads for 14 months now and I have battled this defiant little dread for at least 10 of those. He's right in front, and he falls directly in my face (or straight in front of me like a finger guiding me to go forward) and I can't sweep him to the side! I move and there he is, guiding me forward. How can I get him to stop? I just want him to lay with all my other dread bangs but he seems set on setting his own path. I can post pictures if you need.

I have one that does that too!!!! It drives me crazy! And when it flops the opposite way, it messes up my part!

Congo it with another dread! Hehe...or maybe wait until it gets longer so you can tuck it away overhead or behind an ear

Congo it with another dread! Hehe...or maybe wait until it gets longer so you can tuck it away overhead or behind an ear :D I ended up congoing it cause the way it tightened, made it tighter on the side I didn't need and loose on the side I wanted it on so it always forced itself over. I never crochet my dreads but I crochet congoed them that way they stay (and I don't have a big bead right in my face) and you can't even tell it wasn't like that from the start! We will see how I feel about the new size but it's better than before!
