Hi everyone,
I'm wanting to get dreads put in from scratch and having googled extensively I can't seem to find anywhere in Scotland to have this done. I’m prepared to travel anywhere in Scotland to get a good job. If anyone knows of anywhere I'd really appreciate you letting me know.
Cheers.

Actually let me change that a little, I have found some places but they're basically a name on a website (e.g. the yellow pages). I'm a bit dubious and would like some recommendations, if possible, or at least a place which evidences their past dreads. Ta.

Maybe take a look at that?

Agree with jxbx, DIY for the win! I found it so hard to find a salon that would actually do it the way I wanted (TnR with no products) that I did it myself. Not very hard, and you get a much better feel for it so you can also maintain them better

To be honest, we mostly recommend against people getting them started at a salon as they mostly use damaging techniques such as wax etc.
Depending on the length of your hair, you can certainly do it yourself and most do. Have you researched techniques such as backcombing, twist and rip etc? We have methods and how-to's in our FAQ section.
