Ok, so..haha some of you might actually remember that this is the SECOND (boy, today is all about seconds for me! anyway) my second hairdryer of the year...and sadly, it's dying/burning up too. I tried the highspeed last night and the smell was all over the house in like less than a minute! The handle got so hot by the buttons that I dropped it! Anyway, and GOOD hairdryer brands you folks can suggest? because I KNOW you all use hairdryers a LOT! Thanks! (also, I'm in the USofA, but this can still be used for others too)

I'm convinced all consumer grade ones suck for dreads. Best to sun and air dry over the course of two+ hours for me. If I need 'em dry ASAP, I'll wring 'em out as much as I can with my hands in the shower. Then again with a towel. Then I'll go outside and "fling dry" whipping as much water off my dreads. Wring again...then I'll use my wife's Revlon dryer. All the wringing out gets easier with length...but there's more to dry

I've had a Remington one for a few years now and not had any problems with it!

Haha I just checked again, and mine were definitely Revlon! Oh but thanks jxbxAnd thanks Olly Actually, I saw another dreadhead recommend Remington...the studio salon collection pearl ceramic (haha had to look that up 3 times to write it right! ) Well, will have to see what's in store....although, if I have to, I can order the latter from Amazon.
