I've tried searching for it but can't seem to find anything. How many days should I wait to wash my hair after tnr? Just finished this morning and look like sideshow bob! 😂 I know from previous sets it'll settle after a wash but not sure how long I'll need to wait tbh. Thanks

Honestly, the best guide you can follow is to just wash it when it feels like it needs washing. A lot of places tell you to wait as long as you can but it really makes no difference and clean hair will dread faster, anyway, so have at it!

I waited a few days. But it's so hot here in Northern California that I couldn't wait any longer to wash them. They did come a little loose that first wash, but they stayed in their sections pretty well. You might have to re T&R some of them. I did. But don't worry too much. Just be gentle with them the first few times you wash them.

I waited about a week after backcombing, per the recommendations on the Lazydreads site. Most got looser, a few came out after a few washings. I agree with Paul, I'm not sure how much it matters, plus the loosening is gonna happen anyway in varying degrees.

Don't worry about when you wash. Just make sure #1 your dreads dry completely, and #2 they stay separated.

I actually washed them after a day and none of them came loose so yay for that! I can't go too many days without washing as I fiddle with my hair a lot, although trying to stop that
