I don't want to fill up your thread with my pics, but if it helps. Here's mine at a year and a half of doing nothing. You see under when I tip my head, it was more noticeable. And how it suddenly started taking hold at a point. So hold on there. You're doing fine.

Have a look at Banjo's timeline too. His took ages to start looking like they were dreads.

I have to ask you (and or the community at large) about those huge clumps ones you have underneath, the bottom ones that have shrunk up majorly...so you leave those as is and they will straighten, er, pull together into a rope eventually or...?? ? I feel like willowbranches had these?? As im sure others, but that setcomes to mind. I keep sorta palmrolling mine, not all and not all the time, but most have less loops...but I wonder if that's also why I keep losing chunks, those loopy clumps at the ends (that will actually fall off my head), or if they would just fall out anyway ...its trial and error i suppose. Started leaving them be a bit more and just roll out those that look more sturdy and combine the weaker ones. Eh! Hells yes I had/have club ends, every single one came out like that. I think they developed that way because I did really tight twist and rip only halfway down the insane length of each section, then that fell halfway out and all the loose compiled itself into those masses while the t&r that stayed in stayed skinny and straight. There was nothing I could do to prevent them or change them except palm-roll, that made them round(ish, mostly) instead of flat at least. I thought I was doomed to have thin dreads with huge bulbs at the ends, not that they really bothered me after a while, but over time the skinny lengths are drawing up and folding and the clubs are sort of melding into that... so they're becoming more uniform in thickness as the skinny gets fatter, but I will be surprised if the clubs become indistinguishable, I figure they're each still going to be a bit larger at that spot than the rest of the dread. My neglect dreads have done basically the same thing, but since they're so much further behind in progress I can't say yet whether they'll wind up having more or less of that look. As for the clumps falling out, that definitely seems to be something that happens more with neglect since the snarls are not as confined/attached to the rest of the section, so when you have a spot at the scalp that lets go of enough strands that are snarled to each other but not caught well in still-attached strands then those little nests will come out entirely or accumulate at the bottom. Totally normal I'd say, but dependent to a large degree on your rate of hair-fall.

The bicarb sea salt actually makes my hair more oily. It's just how my hair is no matter what I do I can't remove the oil. As for twist and ripping I don't want it to dread any faster I'm actually enjoying it as it goes. It has taught me patience =]
I also plan on not separating for 1-2months. Last time I didn't separate I ended up with most of my head in tiny sections. Then I kept separating those that's why there so tiny =\

It's hard also to see the texture in the vid here's some pics. Given though it's oily it has became frizzy/messy. Plus I included a pic of my backcombed dreads there are 12 dreads back there but they are covered.

Yeah,
They are really starting to take shape. For a while there, I secretly thought they would never come about because of the various issues you relayed. Time heals all...hehe. With that said, the back is looking really good. I think I see some good size chunks in there. I'm glad you stuck it out!!!

Just beautiful man! The journey might be wild, but well worth it indeed. You were born to wear dreads, and now they are a part of you. Embrace the change as it embraces you. It is amazing bro ♡

the back is what makes me want bigger dreads in the front. But in the end i think a variety of different sized dreads will add uniqueness.
