Dying new dreadlocks?

So I just finished dreading my whole head, which means some are 1 month old and the rest and brand new My hair is naturally dark blonde but it has been dyed with brown henna a few months ago, and I really want to get back to my natural colour as my roots look pretty bad. How long should I wait before dying over my dreads with  dark blonde dye? Sorry for all the questions.

Im coming up on 4 months and still waiting. I almost pick up the dye daily,.. Im SO READY ... But something keeps telling me to wait.

I guess this is something I'm going to have to think about. I've not started my dreads yet, I'm waiting for it to grow out just a couple more inches. Right now I bleach and dye my hair. It's naturally medium brown, but right now it's silver blond. I usually touch up my roots once a month. What would be the risks of dying dreads too early in the locking process?

I bleached and dyed mine before they were a month old and have continued to bleach and dye every six weeks. I don't think it's hindered my process at all, though you can see on my timeline if you want

 4 months sounds like a good time to wait! Thank you good luck dying them!
