can't you just copy/paste the photos lipstic ? (I thought I have done that before with FB photos and they don't show your information there or anything...right?? I hope not!) oh... and you know how to post photos here, right?...with the little icon in the "reply" section? or maybe you are just semi-hiding them like this. I get that!

After lots o' reading I decided to backcomb. I think my hair is a bit too short to tnr, so I backcombed them a week ago (actually my wife did it) and they haven't washed out yet. I'm not one for a lot of maintenance so I'm just gonna let them do their thing. I am doing nothing but washing with either Trader Joe's Tea Tree tingle or Dreadheadhq shampoo. My scalp is pretty itchy after a couple of days not washing so I made a peppermint spray when it gets too annoying.
Gotta say, I'm happy to be starting this journey. I've wanted to do it for a long time.
I don't know how to post pics here either, but I will say I was totally Sideshow Bob for a few days. They're laying down a bit now.

My newest set are only 2 weeks old. They definitely had a braided look to them at first but that is already starting to disappear. The roots are pretty uniformly round, but the bottom half is still pretty loose and braidy looking. Congrats on your new dreads

Mine are all TNR. I'm on my second set, half of my dreads from my first were neglect so I didn't really pay attention to them.
My current set are brand new and partials. I find that when I am making the dread too quickly, and I'm not... sorry, words are failing me today... when you take two fingers and move the hairs between them before taking the two sections and pulling... that's when I get a braided look and the dread is less solid feeling when I'm done until it locks up.
