thank you, yes sir phillippines kwarog02, So...I'm mostly Filipino myself (1/8th Chinese) born and raised in the US. I had a chance to go to the PI in the late 80s with my grandfather, but he said my dreads would attract unwanted attention. He was probably right and said that may be dangerous. So, we didn't go 'cause I wouldn't cut my hair back then. Anyhow, would that scenario be the same today? My father was from Ilocos Norte and my mother was from Bacarra so it's on the bucket list to visit some day.
