So taking what has been said, a thread for specific birdie stuff! I'll probably still share duckling pictures in Random Thoughts (I mean, I get paid to look after baby ducks, how cool is that!) but if anyone has anything more specifically bird orientated, throw it in here and we can have a discussion. And to kick it off, Loooooook Ri!

I love this thread idea. How many birdie people do we have on here? I've been wanting to post pics of my parrots, but hadn't found a good opportunity to do it yet.

Here is a photo from about a week ago. When it gets super hot I like to put ice out for the lorikeets to enjoy.

Terrible pic but this robin was hopping around me today and didn't mind me waving a phone camera at the fella/ lady.

Im in love. They actually hatched a couple days ago but my damn phone got DESTROYED. Finally got my new one and was able to take some pictures. I am only seeing two little ones in there.. And one unhatched egg. So i wonder if there's a third little babe in there or if something happened to it. Time will tell.

I had an unusual house guest last night. Little one was too weak to fly but he's getting there!

The little hatchlings aren't so little anymore. It's amazing how fast they grow. I am predicting they only have 3-5 days left in the nest. Unbelievable. WEDNESDAY TODAY(FRIDAY) I am keeping my distance now because they are definitely alert and aware. Don't want to stress them out!

Yesterday I was trying to take a picture of Lore and I to show off how he and I match now with my new hair color. But all he wanted to do was inspect my teeth. He is so adorable. And here is Fable at max fluffiness after her mist bath. I can't even...

The little ones were venturing out today. Enjoying the sunshine. Probably would have been sooner but we had two straight days of hard downpour from tropical storm Colin.
