I tried a thyme tea spray nothing.. also I need to buy a new shampoo but every dreadlock shampoo seems to be made of oils! I need help quick my neglect knots that took 9 months to start to SLIGHTLY tangle are coming undone by the day.

Have you tried lemon, as its a natural oil stripper? Or maybe use a dish soap as they too advertise their ability to cut through oils (and some users on here use Dawn dish soap as a regular shampoo

Maybe it's a thing you need to get used to. The scalp need it's natural oils and when you strip them away all the time. You end up with overproducing oils and therefore greasy. Dunno if this is the case, since you didn't state the matter, but it's just what came to me : P
