I'm sorry if this thing has already been discussed but I could only find a few topics about bleaching and dying locks.
So as some of you may know I have light blue/cyan locks and now I'm getting a bit bored of the colour and I'd like to go purple on about half of my locks - but just the tips.
Are there any tips and tricks pn how to remove hints of semi-permanent hair dye from locks? Most of it has worn off naturally, but there's this green-ish blue-ish tint. I know you can use vitamin C to remove it from "normal" hair, but I'm not sure if that would leave some residue in dreadlocks.
I really don't want to use bleach.
Thanks!

A deep clean usually does a good job of stripping out the colour.
Here's a recipe people have used before

Thanks Paul! I did one deep clean a few weeks ago but it didn't seem to do much. It was much more simpler than this though, only some baking soda, acv, tea tree oil and warm water. Maybe I'll need to do a couple of more to get a real effect. I've also heard that lemon would lighten hair if combined with sunlight so that's a great idea I didn't think of.

Drug store hydrogen peroxide has a gentle bleaching effect which may work for that dye stain, though always having been throughout my color period totally willing to just rebleach the snot out of my hair I don't have personal experience trying it. There is a possibility that it might cause some shaft damage on already-bleached hair though, but I would expect it to be minimal.
