I'm gonna throw in an "ugly" one...because it's about time I poke fun at myself! Definitely don't do this for money, Twistroot. (this was the best I could do at simplifying my description guys. I am definitely not a person of few words so this was hard!) That's not bad at all!!! It's just a little more minimal but minimalism is a perfectly valid approach, and the perspective on those trees is great.

Oh, thanks guys but you don't understand!!! I guess more should have been said. See, I got this photo from my Dad because I had to just give this away. Looking at it was making me sick. Don't get me wrong, it was fun doing it!...at first, then ...ugh, well I just could never get it perfect. I saw it yesterday tho and thought, "not as bad as I remembered" but yeah not perfect. I think two horizon lines are there!?? I couldnt get the stream thing right...among other things. minimal? Haha I guess probably, but that is probably the most I have ever given to one project...honestly I can count what ive done on one hand (like I said, don't do this much)....oh yes, and I think there got to be too mant layers of paint and too dark and so I couldnt add more, like rocks and such. But...thought this would be a way to expose myself and poke fun...since I can't pull a face. except for that one and that. Hehe

I wish I could do pottery. I ADORE handmade pottery. I do lots of handcrafts but mostly knitting, crochet and embroidery. Would love to learn to weave and willow weave. I also paint, this is the most recent thing I did that I actually have photographed: I've been thinking about getting some decent oil paint canvases but I've been too lazy and penniless.

Thought this thread would be appropriate. I'm doing a clean up of books soon and I've got a great picture book full of animal skulls. Does anyone want it? Title: SKULLS, AN EXPLORATION OF ALAN DUDLEY'S CURIOUS COLLECTION Author: Simon Winchester (Photography by Nick Mann) Publisher: Black Dog & Leventhal I bought it at a box book sale for like RM5 and it's great for drawing references. The jacket is a torn and a bit battered but the book itself is in good condition. I just feel like I have too much stuff with nowhere to keep them. I've got other books as well so will post a proper giveaway with pics later when I get home from work

I really like like your lovely trees!!

I am a painter mostly. I am jealous of the ceramic artists too!! I fell in love with clay in my last year of school and haven't been able to give it a go since...(it's only been... 7 years?!! Crap) here's my most recent: I post to Instagram most often: @amberosezellartist

I am an artist, though life is so crazy busy right now that I've not been practicing much recently. I draw and paint traditionally but I am also training myself in digital painting. Here are a few I've done this past year. Oh yeah, animals are kind of my specialty.

MirandaJoy, I love the pug! This is the most recent thing I've painted, from a couple of weeks ago. I've been drawing/painting for a while but it's actually the first time I've tried a canvas.

I love to paint, but I thought I might try crochet as a new medium
