Ok, perhaps it is that I keep complaining about them, or maybe, there is in fact, some reason my dreads keep shrinking. Diet? (Have been eating rather poorly lately...and less...and less greens...). But the fact is, I lost a lot of length at once, like 9inchesish, and then they sortof plateaued...so I thought. Looking at photos from one month back, then two months back, my past shoulder length dreads shrank again like 4inches, which is now just past the bottom of my ear. (Are they thinner too??? Perhaps just tighter)
Any help for growing hair longer...faster???

That's just what dreads do in order for them to mature some people have it worse than others

was going to say something like...well, i'm the example of "incredible shrinkage"...you have frustrations, come to me. I've been there! BUUUUTTT...now I don't want to jinx it, but...my two eldest dreads (yes, two, not just one) have grown out a centimeter!!!!! yay!!!! And what do you know? It is exactly 5months today for those two specifically. Much hope. Yay! does this work?
edit: that ticker is in my profile...just didn't want to clutter my signature, but it's there.

Yeah...
My curly hair is twice as long when I pull 'em straight. When starting my last few sets, I waited until they were at least 4" (~10cm) until starting to T&R them. They shrink half their length right off the bat.
For hair growth, I believe in pulling on 'em (not too where it's painful) and massaging the scalp. Doing so helps with blood circulation that gets nutrients and such to the hair bulb.

Thanks Jxbx! I'll try it...i mean, i've been kindof massaging the locks, not palmrolling, but just like smoothing out the bumps in between my fingers...not much though. Also root rubbing (oh I love root rubbing for "circulation" ^^) did I ever say this? I like that "status" you have. "The easiest way to dread is to let it go.
