awesome, now the fun part.... patience. lil sprigs look cute on you. Haha, thanks. The other day I had the craziest hair hair. I went to see an older lady friend of mine and when she saw me she asked "Would you like to borrow my brush?" I could have died laughing inside! I did look quite ridiculous.

I made a YouTube video today talking about my decision to create dreadlocks. I put it in the main post, but I figured I'd share it here too.

Your time line gives me hope for my short hair-dreadlock journey Looking great!! Oh, that makes me happy. I could find very few people with short hair like mine forming dreads, but it certainly is possible. I can already see that. I love your old set, I'm excited to see how your new set comes along.

I love your fluffy cloud hair! And I share your appreciation for experimenting with your hair.. My family didn't even think it was that weird sine I've been doing the crazy stuff for so long! I started mine around the same time as your whole head.. It will be cool to watch yours progress as mine do! My hair is almost to my shoulders.. So not quite as short but not as long as some I've seen. Anyway, I love it!

Hey sweetie! Your hair is looking so lovely Question: I see that your hair is blonde back in May and I was wondering how many times you've toned or bleached it since then. Mine were bleached about a month ago and the color is all wonky. I think the shrinking and movement is causing my brown parts to poke through which has made my dreads look muddy. (Wish I dyed them before dreading like you did) I know you're not a professional but curious how you've been managing them. Thanks for your help.

Hey, so I've actually only bleached my roots once since I started my dreads. I did it just a couple days ago and haven't posted anything about it yet. I tried to apply it only to my roots, or mostly to my roots, but that is kind of hard to do in the back where my hair is still so short. After letting it set for about forty minutes I rinsed it all out and finished it with a bleach wash, where I just mix the leftover bleach mixture with some purple shampoo. This was just to kind of even out the bleach job. After that I toned it with Wella T18 toner. I did this all over, but next time I'm probably going to just focus on the roots. Toner tends to burn me more than the bleaching does. It feels pretty harsh. Next time I might skip the Wella toner and do a homemade toner with manic panic. It doesn't work as well as salon toner, but is kinder on my hair. I certainly am not a professional and this is all just one grand experiment for me. But I can image that dying your brown hair blond once you have already started dreads would be hard. I'm sure it is not impossible but peekaboo brown hairs are probably going to happen. Once you get the length of your dreads to the right color, dying the roots should be easier. (Day after bleaching it again)
