What are y'all doing for Mother's Day? And/or do you even celebrate it? Next Sunday?
I don't even know! Probably just out to eat, but I always feel like I need to create something. I'm...I'm always at a loss though.
Once, I cooked a nice (oh gah, so it just so happened to be inspired by an English "tea"?? idk) I did a spread of salads (egg salad, potato salad) oh and made them all sandwiches...did cucumber sandwiches...that actually sounds really nice...oh but also tuna for the more protein ambitious.
But that was A LOT of work!
Another time, I simply took an old candle (was like magenta or red or something) and tied up some red, magenta yarn around it to cover up the sticker or something...and tied a nice bow. She actually still has that! hmm...but i don't typically have candles lying around and idk...don't know if I'll be going out before then...maybe.
otherwise, it's just homemade cards, but I'm soo not original and I just have run out of things to say. Ahhh idk
So, what about you?

26, that's so odd it's not on a Sunday! Actually, Mexico's is on a weekday too though, I believe. So...odd for us Americans maybe. yeah?
