For those of you with matured dreads, was there a distinct time period or day or anything where you noticed they locked? Like you knew you finally hit that milestone?
Mine are 11 months right now and suddenly in the last few days my hair has just felt so different, like it just feels like it's right about to lock. I can't stop feeling my roots because it just finally feels like substantial change, like I'm almost there.

I'd say mine was at 13 months, when I realised that they actually looked and felt like dreads - but I've a ways to go yet!

The easiest way to dread is to let it go. The hardest way to dread is to let it go.

This depends. My natural set took forfuckinever it seemed. Maybe 2 to 3 years. Every set after I've T&R'd and it's considerably faster...maybe 10000 hours or so
