I've begun experimenting with my coffee and it has taken on some weird but pleasant turns. I started with restaurant/ cafe coffee which I could never have black, it had to have some sort of creamer and sugar in it and never tasted right when I made it at home. I have tried all sorts of machines nothing changed it, black coffee was gross! I even tried adding coconut oil. My husband had been bugging me for a french press and a friend of ours having heard this had a spare for us I was so excited to try it out that I forgot I had no creamer. Not one to waste I decided I would suffer through.
Turns out it was just a little bitter so I added some salt, it was delicious. So I tried the coconut oil, that was amazing! Then I started getting really creative adding in cinnamon, chicory root and nutmeg (along with the salt and coconut oil) which gave it a mellow earthy flavour.
This morning I tried adding in some essential oils 2 drops of a mix of bergamot, orange, grapefruit, lemon and lime. added in coconut oil too it was such an awesome wake up that I had to make this post...
So now I want to know how you take your coffee? Is there another weird recipe that I need to try?

Black. Doesn't matter what you make it in, just make it black. Same with tea, leave the milk in the fridge, or the cow.
