Decided to do an acv baking soda rinse today because I'm Super paranoid about the fact that I was started off with the mango lime gel / wax as well as have washed w dr bronners a couple times so to clean it up I did the rinse combined locks for thickness and pAlm rolled Apologies for not posting pictures as I haven't got around to how to do so with the mobile browser since no more laptop yeah, that probably helped. I didn't start with wax, but I've done other not so smart things (not dread-safe conditioner, excessive crocheting...whatever else I have to discover ) basically tho, your hair will be pretty resilient, once you start fixing those wrongs, as you seem to have started doing. Picture of the t&r was dark, but it seemed pretty good! oh...are you still using (or did you ever) the mango-lime for growth and moisture?? Apparently even some dread products aren't so good for your hair or for dreads...I didn't give it much chance...i stopped using mine, but the hair seems to be doing better without it. (go figure, AFTER I buy it, I find this out! ) But just get a shampoo and you won't need anything else, except maybe some oils. Winters are awfully dry around here! spring has been better though. Happy locking!
