Looks great, bet you'll miss the length yet conveniently forget the bad points of very long dreads. Do you feel very 2012?

Thanks guys, I'm liking it.
I'm also discovering all sorts of pros/cons with short vs long dreads.
The bad: not as easy to tie back creatively (I commented last week that my hair was too long to do the bun I like... now it's too short XD). I've lost my dread-pillow when leaning back in the bath. I'm a fidget and I miss having dreads at chest-length to play with.
The good: washing and drying is much quicker. Easier to keep them out of my way (no more dreads intercepting food between my plate and my mouth!). My head feels lighter. It's like having anew set of dreads so it feels fresh. I don't get them trapped under me when I'm laying down.

Ah thanks mRko.... er, I mean wells. ;p Yeah the tips are going curl crazy at the minute... I did give them a good condition after combing out a few inches but they're doing great.

I need to do the same. After my cut last summer some of the endz are still blunted. Usually they dis-dread and curl up right away. Maybe they're just super tight this time.

I've been considering trimming mine. They do feel heavy at times. Yours are looking good

That picture of the scissors makes me cringe. I see what kind of reaction you were trying to get. lol

Others can respond, but Paul, you are the first, or maybe only person on this forum that I KNOW fits this...do you comb out your ends after washing? Mine got all blunted like stiff again after drying, (well some)...so I did it, but do You HAVE to do this too or are yours just like that?

No, no combing out the ends.
It's funny you should say that though... When I started this set I was forever combing the ends back IN after washing because I initially wanted them to blunt but they kept going curly. That's around the time when I realised it's better to let your dreads just do what they want to do.

Yours must be more than 8. Mine are 8 in a month or two. I thought you were a year ahead. Anyway looking glamorous in the photo shoot.
