Some of them are at least four inches long. Wondering if I could maybe backcomb a bit - I do want to keep wisps and will always pull out any that start to blunt but it's the length is just insane!

Noooo! Don't do it! I had wispy ends for almost 2 years before they started blunting. I still have a few left.

Speaking of whispy ends, I know a lot of people prefer them for water drainage. I am all for anything that helps with drying. I also like the look of them. As my dreads have matured a lot of my ends have folded up into big chunks in the bottom of the dread. Any way to stop that or correct it? I dont know how to pick hair out really. I havent done anything to my dreads since they were back combed.

I've picked a few fat dreads apart and it just takes time and patience - and a strong implement, like the pointy end of a metal comb. You can just pull out and brush the ends until they free up.

You could twist and rip the ends a bit. Of course they might just fall out.

My favourite soap company have started making liquid soap as well as bars. I always thought the only way to improve it would be to make it available as liquid.

Ah, I was actually seeing on their products. Before i bought a shampoo from Irie Dread. Glad to know they´re dreadfriendly, cause it is pretty cheap and they sell liquid soap up to 1 liter and was thinking to use this as a facial cleanser too

Yeah, they're very dread friendly. If you go on their website instead of the eBay shop, they sell 5 litres of liquid for £75, which isn't listed on eBay. That must be at least several years' worth, but I'll probably stick to 1 litre for now though, haha.

Well, it´s going to go bad faster. Even though I´m a cheapskate, I kinda don´t want to wash me with stale soap on my face, hair or other parts. Stale essential oils smells bad enough *Gross*

I hadn't thought about it going bad, to be honest! But you're probably right.

I feel like coloring my dreads, but not really. I thought I'd use their "birth" as a reason to finally stop coloring my hair - but now I've got 2-3 inches of my natural color showing and it just doesn't feel like ME, even though it really is.
So, learn to accept what is and embrace my natural color... Or color it and get back in to my comfort zone.
Grrr.

I'm colouring some tips! It's much easier and my natural colour can still grow in.
