I tried "Frenchies" for the first time yesterday. I did three and my arms a sore Umm yeah I can imagine those are pretty intense. New to me and now I'm intrigued to try them. ------------------ I work out 3 days a week, weightlifting. Over the past 3 years I've varied between different structure and programs. Currently I'm following guidelines from rippedbody.jp which I used a few years ago and the guy's knowledge is solid. I do an A/B split every other day (rest weekends), which consists of deadlifts/chinups/overhead press one day and the other day is squats/bench press/rows. I have crap for knees so I can no longer do running or high impact cardio which helped me a lot in the past with burning body fat, but I maintain, cut or bulk now with an iifym, carb cycling and/or intermittent fasting style of nutrition to coincide with my training. Lol, it works for me, but I'm OCD so....

HippyFish, yeah...I'm trying to anticipate the days where I will no long be able to run. I like to bike but it's not nearly the overall body/cardio workout running offers. I'll probably end up power walking...hehe.

jxbx, that's mostly what I rely on now, walking/hiking, which can be pretty arduous depending on terrain. I just have to be careful with steep downhill or side torsion murdering my knees.

Duh!!! Great solution!!! Yeah HippyFish , *knock on wood* with amount of mileage I've put on my knees....I'm not saying the rest I aim for grass, dirt, treadmill, and asphalt before concrete so that may help. Injury-wise, I've been getting cramps on my right calf lately. I can't shake it and the worse part is that it's inconsistent. It's seemingly an overuse injury but I get them if I run 2 miles or if I go 10! I've been focused on stretching more before running and I've added a calcium/magnesium supplement thinking I could be insufficiently warming up or something is lacking in my diet!!! I should definitely eat better but don't...hehe.

It looks hard enough just trying to aim the peg into the hole, then you gotta to do a one arm pull-up at the same time!!!

My buddy can do the whole board in 52 seconds up/down. He tried doing g it with 10pounds strapped to his waist and barely made 4 pegs It's a unique thing for sure.

Do you think you're eating enough protein? Unless their truly is an underlying injury, I would consider more fruits/veggies for obtaining decent amounts of your micronutrients and possibly a BCAA supplement for muscle repair and protein synthesis... this can also be beneficial if you have extended workouts/runs or time between meals. I always do a full body joint warm up prior to working out, and *should* be stretching afterwards although I've been pretty lazy with it lately and boy do I pay for it the next day if I didn't stretch :/

(one day, one day, haha but maybe not...actually, this or at least climbing pegs might just work better for me than pullups..ok, but that is probably something I don't need to talk about outloud haha nvd If you got that ok, if not, well then, even better!) it's 1000* harder then pull ups I personally can do a few reps of pullups but the peg board is soooo hard.
