No, I KNOW I was awake then. hmm guess I'll be on the tube ALL day tomorrow. actually, it's online, so I might just do this. -------------------------------------------- 51. i forgot to mention my fascination with fish...like fish tank fish and used to be into ocean life, sharks, whales and all that. (I KNOW this was something I wanted to share, but I forgot...and forgot how to say it) Yeah, I used to pretend rubber bands were fish and I'd collect them in this plastic toy box and I'd ...idk I don't remember the rest. Just remember having my box of water and rubber-band fish. haha

Oh boy... I've meant to do this since I joined, but it's so daunting. I could easily tell you 50 facts about anything but me, hahaha.
1. My hair hasn't been it's natural color in 14 years. (not fully, bits of it has) 2. My natural hair color WAS a light reddish auburn, until I had kids. Now it is a really dark brown, a few shades away from black. 3. My mohawk is 9 1/2 years old 4. I only wear skate shoes, and converses. 5. My feet are tiny... I'm a size 3. 6. I've never had fake nails... but until recently, they were usually longer than most people's acrylics. (long nails are against the rules in WFTDA) 7. I was only allowed to get my ears pierced once, and that wasn't supposed to happen until 18. My mom convinced my dad to let me at 14. I then began to gauge them, since I could only have one piercing, and my parents never considered telling me I couldn't. (back then, nobody had gauges) 8. I had to make my own plugs out of pens and stuff, because you couldn't buy them anywhere. 9. Once he realized what was going on, he told me I couldn't go any bigger... so I kept finding slightly larger items to use, that were always black. He didn't notice. 10. I was homeschooled until 9th grade, and went to a tiny private school after that. 11. I graduated a month into my senior year through a different school, and started at the community college at 17. Ironically, my Senior year was the first year that I had friends at school... but they were going to suspend me for being a nonconformist ring leader... so I dropped out, and graduated instead. 12. Even though I started early... it took 7 years to complete my AA, because I ended up having kids first. 13. I always made my own jewelry, and accessories as a kid/teen. 14. I didn't own any girl's jeans until I was 21. 15. I did martial arts from 7-15. 16. I did gymnastics until I was 17. 17. I spent every free moment at the skatepark during my teen years. 18. I was the only chick who skated. 19. I had a neon orange, plastic penguin named Fred, and a neon pink beaver named George. They were laced into my Osiris D3s for about 4 years, and the poor things were sanded down by my grip tape. They were generally the only pop of color I wore too. 20. I loathe change, and scour ebay for my favorite clothing that was produced over a decade ago. 21. My dad and I love pizza. So much so, that my mom was sick of us asking for pizza for dinner. So... she decided to teach us a lesson. We had pizza for breakfast, lunch and dinner for a week straight. We were in heaven, it backfired on her, because we still wanted pizza. She never wanted to see another pizza again. 22. I replaced the plastic beads in my hacky sack with copper bb's. 5 hack burn had a whole new outcome... my circle always had brutal welts. 23. I wasn't allowed to watch any kids movies with magic or fantasy, but I was allowed to watch rated-r films, as long as the rating was just for violence. 24. After I had my first son, I realized how much I appreciated having a waist, and stopped wearing all of my huge t-shirts. 25. That pile of shirts (the ones that weren't stolen by my ex-h) later became corset tank tops. This year I decided to start making them to sell. (facebook.com/deaths.final.stitch) 26. I was stung for the first time on my 8th birthday, in line for the bumper cars at an amusement park. I never went back to that ride, and wasn't stung again for another 20 years (a couple months shy of 21 years.). My winning streak ended the same time that the Undertaker lost his Wrestlemania streak. 27. I love animals, but am now allergic to everything cute and furry, EXCEPT for ferrets. My allergies have gotten exponentially worse with age. 28. I've always had problems with my lungs, and breathing... but none of my doctors ever diagnosed me with asthma until I was in my 30s. Gee thanks guys. 29. The first time I went snowboarding was in 8th grade. We knew absolutely nothing, and my first board was taller than me. I didn't have snow pants, so I wore jncos over long johns. BRRR 30. I now have 4 snowboards... but only one is actually rated for my weight. I finally caved and got a women's board, even though I really didn't like the color schemes on any of them. 31. I got my motorcycle license when I was 16. 32. Caffeine doesn't give me energy, or wake me up. But it does calm me down if I'm upset. 33. I have no artistic ability, much to my chagrin. I got pretty good with graffiti lettering as a teen, but haven't tried in ages. 34. All of the clothing and bags/etc that I make, I have to do so without a physical design, since I cannot draw. Everything is locked in my head, so I can't work if people are around me. 35. I can't use manufactured patterns. I make my own. 36. I love gaming, but pc only. 37. I started playing WoW right after my eldest was born... his dad was always in game and pissing me off... so, he made an account for me, to get me to leave him alone about it. That backfired on him, because our marriage was already a nightmare, and that was my only escape from him... 38. Some of my closest/oldest friends are people I met in game. 39. Eventually, I will be covered from head to toe with tattoos (face excluded), however my artist moved to the other side of the state, so I now have to factor gas and lodging into my fund. 40. I hate fruity drinks. The only mixed drinks I will drink are Screwdrivers, and Trash cans... and that's only because they're very effective. 41. Beer is my favorite, good beer, not domestics. 42. I'm not a fan of junk food. 43. I'd live off of raw veggies daily, but that's not sufficient intake for me bulking up, so... 44. I started playing roller derby in feb of '16, the same time I finally decided to loc my hair. 45. I prefer playing with the men's team. They might all have 200+lbs on me, but never do they question my abilities based on my size... or hold back on their hits. The women's team, on the other hand... is stupidly judgemental and always commenting on how small I am, saying they're uncomfortable hitting me. My ultimate goal is to get my skill level up high enough to be on the men's roster for bouts. (men's leagues don't have rules against it). 46. Cities make me uncomfortable. 47. My biggest fears are Robots/AI, needles, and electricity. Spiders are also up there. 48. Most of my favorite bands are not from the USA. 49. I hate wine, and romance films. 50. I used to love sorting and folding laundry... but with 4 kids... I dread it.

I tend to find everything about myself to be uninteresting, and am afraid I'll bore people. I've gotten quite shy and introverted as I've become older.

That pizza story is amazing. Did you not put on loads of weight that week?! My favourite pizza is pineapple and mushroom on a margherita. Some people tell me I am the devil and pineapple pizza is disgusting but I don't care because it means more pineapple pizza for me!

This sounds like fun.
1. I stopped eating meat when I was eight. I'm very thankful that my parents were supportive at the time. It would have been unbearable otherwise. 2. When I was a 15 year old litterbug (not proud of this, don't drop it - bin it), I unintentionally got the east London branch of the central line shut down while police searched for someone they thought had given birth to a dead alien foetus. It was a toy. With biro glasses drawn on its face. 3. I used to work in the voluntary sector, encouraging teenagers into volunteering. I once knocked for a volunteer at 7am to get him to his role on time whilst his mother was hitting him with a broom for oversleeping. 4. I'm currently a weaver. I sometimes spend 16 hours a day on my own in front of a loom. I occasionally worry that the loneliness of my work is eroding my social skills. 5. I once met Harold from the Halifax adverts. FAME. 6. I sometimes think that I'm too content with my own company. The idea that that could still be the case when I'm elderly is a bit terrifying. 7. I dated an offshore rig engineer in my early twenties and it was probably the relationship I've been comfortable in. I worry about what that says about me as a girlfriend. That I'm happiest when my partner isn't even on terra firma half the time... 8. I'm an obsessive walker. I can't run for shit, though. 9. I am currently on a no caffeine diet for a mild heart condition. Decaf teabags are not as bad as I thought they'd be. 10. When I was 18, I hitch-hiked through Scotland to T in the Park with only a woolly hat and a two litre bottle of water. I lost my shoes and didn't sleep for three days. I enjoyed it more than any time I went with friends. 11. I write things down constantly. I'm overrun with notes. They're everywhere, mocking my disorganised life. 12. I studied a fine art degree after I left school. As much as I enjoyed it, I'm not sure how useful it really was. I think I developed a terrible, unhealthy, self-destructive, perfectionist work ethic during that time as well. 13. I stole all the road signs from my uni campus one year and gave them to friends as Christmas presents. Total cheapskate. 14. I eat more brown cheese than could ever possibly be healthy. 15. I used to dislike being tall. Actually, I still do sometimes now when I need to buy new clothes. 16. I taught myself Russian when I was 14 in defiance of a French teacher who made it clear she thought I was incapable of learning a second language. One of my biggest regrets is not keeping up with it. I've forgotten almost all of it now. 17. When I was little, I wanted to be a bearded lady in a circus. 18. I am somewhat phobic of fish. Or specifically fish scales. Sharks and rays are ok-ish. 19. My middle name is Louise. I'm not too keen on it for consonant to vowel ratio reasons. 20. I was kicked out of a ice skating team when I was 12 for a stupid reason that I'm not at all still bitter about at all nope not bitter. Pre-teen figure skating is a cut-throat world. 21. How can I have run out of facts already? I think I might not be real. 22. I'll come back to this later.

Random question nanolu - do you keep all the notes you write? Got a big box somewhere of all your old scribblings you can one day look back on wonder what the hell you were talking about in them? ;p
