Nah. March 2008 they were started, as I gave my first set the chop the previous summer. In fact, Facebook threw this up in my 'on this day' stuff earlier haha.

Love love love your curly ends! Mine do the same if the ends are long enough. I feel the shorter length is very suiting on you! How curly was your natural hair texture pre-dreads?

Thanks! My hair's never been longer than a few inches, undreaded, so I don't know what the full curl potential is but it was quite unruly. Weird thing is my tips were nothing like that first time around (unless that's because I was constantly trying to make them dread up whereas I'm leaving them alone now) so I've no idea why it's so curly all the sudden. I like it though... I think it's a more "feminine" style but I'm comfortable in my sexuality so I don't mind

Makes them look a little wild, which is a positive in my eyes!

They turned 9 a month or two back. Pre-trim. Post-trim. Makes me laugh that some people think this is mega short... I have to remind them my hair was 4 inches long when I started this set XD XD

I think you get so used to seeing someone with a certain length of hair for so long, it's more of a surprise. I'm trying to imagine myself with shoulder length hair again. Looks good

Thanks all. Only downside is a have to wait a bit for the newly-cut ends to curl up and everything like last time, they're a bit puffy right now haha. But that should come after a few washes.

I think you'd sport a black fedora hat well.... and a black cape. A villainous laugh would suit you well too. ... hmm.

I like fedora hats (never actually owned one, though!) but I think they're a little too associated with MRAs for me to dare to wear one these days...
